There is no city water system for much of this end of the county, people rely on wells, many of which are shallow or sulphur-y. So, lots of people come from all over this area with jugs, barrels, and water tanks to fill up for free.
This is the stream of water as it comes from the rocks and flows into the upper end of the pipe.

The absolute highlight of the month for me to date. Is the spring on your land or is it communal, oh it doesn't matter that is community, I rented a place once that had a spring similar to that and the cows on agistment used to line up in orderly fashion to drink rather than go down o the dam. I used to sit and watch them for hours, the roos and other wildlife used to use it at night. No prints near the dam.
It's a communal spring a mile or so down the road from us.
This reminds me of the springs by the roadside on Wrangell Island, Alaska. People don't have wells for their water supply the way we do here in Tennessee, many bring containers to collect the fresh water as it flows from a pipe in the rocks. We saw large tanks by some homes that collected rainwater for household use.

This is a wonderful photo. Great shot showing the movement of the water and the necessity of it being captured for use. Great colors. Even in the big city of Seattle there was a spring like this where people came for water. The Seattle water was so laden with chemicals, one couldn't stand the taste of it. My dear departed Mother , who needed to drink lots of water, finally all but quit drinking until my sister heard of the spring. Was a "life-saver" for my Mom!

A great pair of shots and the second one is especially cool with the detail in the water droplets. We have these near our cottage but wouldn't have been so clever as to think of using it for this theme! Nice idea......
