#108 Yellow (Theme #365)

I was sitting on the porch swing, enjoying the beautiful day, when I noticed an American Goldfinch on the feeder above. I had to zoom as far as my little point and shoot would go to get a shot of the yellow bird.
Here is my zoomed picture of the American Goldfinch in his yellow summer plumage.

Oh so tiny, just like a canary with black in the wings. Good spotting.

Sweet little thing - good things come in small packages.

They are so tiny! We had a yard full of them but unless they moved, I couldn't tell them from the foliage on the ground. But, they are so busy busy busy, so they moved! :D Great shots even with your little camera.

I love your take on this theme. You know it's spring when the Goldfinch turn yellow again. They're such beautiful little birds. Nice shot!

I love Gold Finches, nice shot.

I think the term is breeding plumage, but summer works too!
