A friend and I went to visit a neighbor in the hospital this afternoon. While we were there, it began to rain. She said, "look out there at how the rain is making steam come up off those lights!" I looked out the window and she was right. She thought it would make a good picture--I had to turn the flash off to keep from getting reflections from the window. She was so thrilled that this would fit a theme for this project (her candles were the ones for post #43). Thanks Weezie!
I looked up today and saw that several planes had been playing "etch a sketch" in the sky.
I got to the traffic light as school was getting out and caught this line of look alikes.
Otherwise known as what is left from post #44. My husband cut up the half a tree that fell in the last storm into logs (firewood).
This is what we had for lunch today (and what my husband will have for lunch when he goes in to the office for work tomorrow--usually, he is able to work at home three or so days a week).
In case anyone is interested, lunch consisted of spaghetti with a sauce made from leftover chili and a can of spaghetti sauce; steamed asparagus; spinach with mushrooms and onions sauteed in garlic butter; and hoecakes made from self-rising cornbread mix and buttermilk.
The design of this house has fascinated me since I first saw it about 10 years ago.
