#101 Sunday (Theme #310)

Sunday, April 5, was the Union Level Event for our Pathfinder Bible Achievement teams. Three teams participated in this event--two will advance to the Division Level at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI. Teams from all over North America (including Canada) will be there. Last year, there were 45 teams there. The quiz questions and answers are presented in three languages--English, French, and Spanish--to accomodate teams whose native language is not English.
Our team, the Highland Warriors, will be leaving on Thursday morning for this event. Friday evening is when it all begins, with the main event on Saturday afternoon.
This is the other team from our area that will be advancing also. They are the Tullahoma Equestrians.

#100 Something Borrowed (Theme #294)

My daughter's car died in February. Since then she has been getting rides with friends to get to work, church, etc. while waiting for the title for a car that we bought her. Since the title hasn't come yet, and her friends were getting tired of giving her rides, we took my truck down to Chattanooga for her to borrow.

#99 Blue (Theme #28)

This truck was parked across the street from the bank last week. I liked both the style of it and the color--so I took its picture.

#98 Boy (Theme # 32)

This is the four-year old son of a friend of mine. He was pretending to be a bird. He is eating worms (noodles) and birdseed (peas)--and of course he couldn't use a fork because birds don't have hands!

#97 Canine Companions (Theme #41)

This is Metu, my canine companion. He follows me everywhere. When I used to take my neighbor to the doctor or shopping, Metu would follow me to my neighbor's house, then stay there (sometimes for 4 or 5 hours) until we got back. He still follows me when I go there to feed the cats and waits until I'm done, then races me home. (My neighbor's house is about half a mile away--driveway to driveway). When I take walks in the yard, Metu is right there with me. He likes to sit on my feet and be petted.

#96 Watch (Theme #352)

This afternoon was beautiful so I was out in the yard taking pictures. My son spotted this very tiny trillium. I told him I wished I had something to put next to it for size reference, and he volunteered his watch.

#95 Warnings (Theme #351)

This warning was posted at Standifer Gap Marsh--a popular birdwatching spot in Chattanooga, TN.

#94 Flowers (Theme #103)

Tuesday morning, we woke up to a light dusting of snow! I took my camera with me when I went out to check on our flowering plants.
Our lilacs had snow on them,
and so did our apple trees.

#93 Chains (Theme #44)

These chains hold up our porch swing.

#92 Tunnel (Theme #35)

Missionary Ridge Tunnel in Chattanooga, Tn.
In one side...
and out the other.
