#108 Yellow (Theme #365)

I was sitting on the porch swing, enjoying the beautiful day, when I noticed an American Goldfinch on the feeder above. I had to zoom as far as my little point and shoot would go to get a shot of the yellow bird.

#103 Bells and Whistles (Theme #23)

When you live on 15+ acres, calling the family in for meals can be a bit harder than sticking your head out the door and yelling. We hung this bell on the porch when we moved in so we could call in the family when they are outdoors. My daughter was 12 and deeply into the "horse" stage--this was all the horse we could afford to get her.

This fellow was in a storefront window next to the grocery store. I tried from several angles, but couldn't get one without the reflections. I decided on this shot anyway since it kind of looks like he's eating the tree.
