#66 Dessert (Theme #75)

My friend's recipe calls this "Pinapple Salad", but since it has Cool-Whip, marshmallows, coconut, sugar, etc., I served it for dessert today.

#65 Silver and Gold (Theme #285)

The sunset last night was just beautiful. I took over a hundred pictures of it (thank goodness for digital!). When I looked at them this morning, it made me think of the theme "Silver and Gold". My son helped me narrow it down to this one (about half the pictures were good, the rest not so much).

#64 What Am I? (Theme #356)

My son was starting to dice this up for our lunch yesterday when he hollered for me to come see. He asked me what it looked like. We both had the same idea--what do you think it looks like? (hint: a country)

Update to Post #60

As you can see, the drink of water revived my neglected peace lily. I have been able to keep it alive for more than four years because it tells me when it is thirsty (by drooping) so I haven't overwatered and killed it. It perks right back up after a good drink.

#63 Chalkboard (Theme #46)

Our Pathfinder theme song, as scrawled on the chalkboard by one of our Pathfinders.

#62 Tilt! (Theme #329)

Slightly out of focus due to the rain/snow mix that was falling. Click for a larger image and see the picture of a semi-truck tilting on the sign. If I had better editing software, I'd have zoomed and cropped, but have to be satisfied with this.

#61 Musical Instrument (Theme #192)

Sunday, I returned to the boarding academy where I attended high school. This beautiful pipe organ has been added to the church since I was a student there.

#60 Neglected (Theme #197)

Things have been so busy lately that I neglected to water my peace lily. Don't worry, it got a good drink after having its picture taken.

#59 Things With Wings (Theme #326)

Not the best focus--he startled me by suddenly taking flight and I snapped the picture quickly before he could fly out of range. I liked how his wings stretched from side to side in the picture.

#58 Reflections (Theme #256)

Yesterday was a beautiful day and I stopped at a park that is home to many ducks, geese, gulls, etc. This gull was wading in a puddle at the edge of the parking lot. Only after taking a couple pictures of him did I realize what good reflections I was getting. My son picked this shot as his favorite.
