#150 Power (Theme #239)

There is a lot of water power here. This is Cumberland Falls on the Cumberland River in KY at Cumberland Falls State Park. It is one of a few places in the world where moonbows can be predicted. Unfortunately, the weekend we were there was not the right one for the moonbow and the water was too muddy for even a rainbow.

Good composition here. Nice shot of the falls, even with its muddy water. The spray is lovely. Need a comparison photo after the rains have subsided.

Great shot!

I remember it well! Well, not really. ;-) I was there when I was an infant and remember the old slides of that family vacation. It looked much the same in 1958!

Love seeing Cumberland Falls! I am a Cumberland College Alum... about 30 minutes from the Falls. I spent many days around the Falls area hiking and ejoying nature- tried many times to spot the Moonbow, but never got to see it. Nice Shot!
