#141 Fruits of the Season (Theme #114)

We have a large raspberry patch planted for us by the birds--there are plenty of berries for both us and the birds--they get the ones in the middle that we can't reach.
I picked nearly a gallon this morning--they are in the freezer now--waiting to be turned into raspberry jam.

Those look delicious. I love freshly picked berries. I haven't made jame in years but I used to make a lot!!

Those berries on the vine look fantastic, especially enlarged.

Look good enough to eat! :D
Many years ago, we had 5 long rows of raspberries. This was while I was in high school. We ate raspberries every imaginable way. Juiced them, canned then, jelly and jammed them. Made cobblers, pies and "preserves" out of them. After we left the farm, we had enough on the shelf that they lasted for 5 more years. Sorta got burned out on raspberries.

I really like the top shot with the berries and leaves. It just looks like summer!
